Green Bean Casserole Cheesy Bread
- 1 loaf Italian Bread
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 8 ounces, weight Fresh, Sliced White Mushrooms
- Dash Of Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- 1/2 cups Swanson(R) Chicken Broth
- 1 can (10 1/2 Oz. Size) Campbell's(R) Cream Of Mushroom Soup
- 1 can (14 1/2 Oz. Size) Del Monte(R) Blue Lake(R) Cut Green Beans
- 1/4 cups French's Crispy Onions, Plus More For Topping
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Preheat oven to medium broil.
- Cut bread in half lengthwise. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over each half. Broil until bread starts to turn golden, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0F.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Cook until mushrooms start to brown, about 4-5 minutes. Add garlic and saute for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add broth to skillet and simmer for 3 minutes. Add soup and stir until thoroughly combined.
- Remove skillet from heat. Add green beans and crispy onions. Stir to combine.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese onto each slice of bread. Spoon green bean mixture evenly over each half. Top with additional onions.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes, or until cheese starts to melt. Remove from oven and cut into slices. Enjoy!
