Lisa'S Spaghetti
- butter
- 1/2 medium size onion
- 1/2 medium size green pepper
- hamburger meat
- 2 pkg. McCormick spaghetti sauce mix (thick and zesty)
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can Hunt's choice cut diced tomatoes
- 1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel, diced
- 3 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
- spaghetti noodles
- Saute chopped onion and green pepper in a tablespoon of butter.
- Brown hamburger meat and drain.
- Add 2 packages of spaghetti sauce mix.
- Add diced tomatoes, Ro-Tel and tomato sauce. Add water if needed.
- Stir.
- Bring to a boil.
- Slowly add the uncooked spaghetti noodles and stir.
- Let simmer on low until noodles are cooked.
- Stir frequently.
- After noodles are cooked, cover and let simmer on low, stirring occasionally.
- The longer it simmers, the better flavor it will have.
- May be refrigerated overnight.
