Twin Meat Loaves
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. chopped celery
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 slices soft bread, cubed
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. chili sauce
- Mix meats well.
- Stir in onion, celery, salt, poultry seasoning, pepper, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
- Soak bread in milk.
- Add eggs; beat well with rotary beater.
- Combine meat and egg mixtures.
- Form 2 loaves; roll in bread crumbs. Place in greased shallow baking dish.
- Spread 1/2 cup chili sauce over each loaf.
- Pour 1/2 cup boiling water around loaves.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
