Hamburger Soup
- 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
- 1/2 cups Onions, Diced
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 cups Celery, Diced
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 14 ounces, weight Canned Diced Tomatoes
- 14 ounces, weight Tomato Sauce
- 4 cups Beef Broth
- 1 cup Corn, Frozen
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Parsley
- 1/4 teaspoons Thyme
- 1/4 teaspoons Oregano
- 1-1/2 cup Uncooked Pasta, Small Size Such As Small Shells Or Elbow
- Shredded Cheese, To Serve (optional)
- In a large pot, add olive oil, onion and garlic; saute for about 2 minutes. Add celery and saute for about another minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Drain the oil out or cook until it evaporates.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, corn and seasoning. Bring to a boil. Add pasta. Cook until pasta is done (about 10 minutes).
- Serve with a sprinkle of cheese if desired.
