Brunswick Stew

  1. Boil chicken in 1 quart water.
  2. When done, strain stock and add tomatoes, lean pork (diced), lean beef, the cut up chicken, onions, tomatoes, bacon grease and V-8.
  3. Cook 3 hours.
  4. Add potatoes and lima beans and cook for 1 hour, then add sugar, corn, bay leaves, oregano, Worcestershire and salt and pepper.
  5. Cook 30 minutes longer.
  6. Makes 3 gallons.
