Healthy Homemade Granola

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0F.
  2. Combine all the dry ingredients (oats through salt) in a bowl and stir.
  3. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Add maple syrup and honey. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Add the vanilla and stir.
  4. Add butter mixture into the dry ingredients and combine well. Place granola on a parchment paper-lined rimmed baking sheet. Put it into the oven for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even browning.
  5. Remove from oven and let it cool on baking sheet (granola will harden as it cools). Break into pieces and store in an airtight container or Ziploc bag.
