Homemade Granola Bars
- 2 cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Yellow Cake Mix
- 1/2 cups Pretzels, Chopped
- 1/4 cups Mini Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 cups Dried Cranberries
- 1/4 cups Chopped Walnuts (optional)
- 1/4 cups Sugar
- 1/4 cups Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 cups Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 cups Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Large Egg
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl mix oats, cake mix, pretzels, chocolate chips, cranberries, nuts, sugars, and salt.
- In a small bowl stir oil, maple syrup, vanilla and egg until blended. Pour over oat mixture and toss until combined.
- Press mixture evenly in prepared baking pan and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Don't overbake.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into squares. Store in an airtight container.
