Homemade Sandwich Bread

  1. 1. In a large bowl, mix juice, water, oil, sugar, yeast, and salt until yeast and sugar dissolve.
  2. 2. Mix in flour, 1/2 cup at a time, to form a soft dough.
  3. 3. Place dough on a floured board and knead for about 10 minutes, adding more flour 1 tablespoon at a time, as needed.
  4. 4. Form dough into ball and place in a greased bowl. Cover with a damp towel, not letting towel touch the dough, and let rise in a warm area for 1 hour.
  5. 5. Punch down dough and place on floured board. Knead for 2 minutes.
  6. 6. Shape dough into loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.
  7. 7. Cover with damp towel and let rise 30 minutes.
  8. 8. Bake at 375u0b0F for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
