Meat Loaf, The Best

  1. Saute pepper, onion and celery for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix with meat. Add beef bouillon, garlic powder and basil.
  3. Mix and taste; add salt, if needed.
  4. Add egg(s) and mix.
  5. Use a glass baking dish; form mixture into a long loaf (3-inches) high or so.
  6. Place pepper, onion, celery and basil around and on top of mixture.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Cover with tinfoil, don't let tinfoil touch mixture.
  9. Bake 2 hours at 350u0b0.
  10. Check after 1 1/2 hours and remove tinfoil.
  11. Let it brown the last 1/2 hour.
