Katrina'S Guilt-Free Quiche
- 1 c. no-fat shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. no-fat shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 c. cooked (crisp) crumbled turkey bacon
- 1 c. shredded low-fat turkey ham
- 5 eggs or use egg substitute
- 1 c. milk
- 1 deep dish pie shell
- 1/4 c. minced onion (optional)
- Bake pie shell in a 400u0b0 oven until pale golden in color.
- Do not brown. Remove from oven and cool.
- Place layers of Cheddar cheese, Mozzarella cheese, bacon, ham and Parmesan cheese in pie shell.
- Beat eggs until frothy and add milk.
- Pour custard mixture evenly over pie filling.
- Place quiche on baking sheet and bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 1 hour or until set.
- Let stand 15 minutes at room temperature before cutting.
