Hot Fudge Chocolate Sauce
- 2/3 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1/2 cups Corn Syrup
- 1/3 cups Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cups Dutch Processed Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 6 ounces, weight Dark Chocolate, Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- In a medium-sized pot combine cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and half of the chocolate. Bring to a low boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat. Add remaining chocolate, butter, and vanilla extract. Gently stir until smooth. Let the sauce cool slightly before using. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Heat leftover sauce gently in the microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute before using.
- Makes 2 cups.
