Double Raisin Oatmeal Cookies With Flax Seeds

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
  2. Mix together flours, baking soda, baking powder, oatmeal, flax seeds and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cream together Crisco/butter and sugars on high speed till light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each egg. On low speed, add vanilla. Gradually stir in dry ingredients. With a wooden spoon, mix in raisins.
  4. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto cookie sheets. I can fit twelve cookies onto a sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes till lightly browned. Let cool for a few minutes then carefully place on a cooling rack.
