Spirited Pecan Pie Bars
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. (14 oz. can) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
- 2 c. pecan halves
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- Melt butter in 9 x 9-inch baking pan in oven while preheated to 350u0b0.
- Remove from oven; stir in graham cracker crumbs.
- Press onto bottom of pan.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until deep golden brown.
- Beat egg lightly in medium bowl; stir in sweetened condensed milk and maple flavoring.
- Stir in pecans and coconut. Pour pecan filling over hot crust; spread evenly.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until center is set.
- Cool completely in pan or on wire rack.
- Cut into 2 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch bars.
- Makes about 1 1/2 dozen bars.
