Beef Casserole
- 1 lb. ground round steak
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 small pkg. thin noodles
- 1/2 pt. carton sour cream
- 1 small pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
- 1 bunch green onions, cut up and leave raw
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- sweet basil and oregano (as desired)
- Brown the first 4 ingredients all together.
- Cook noodles.
- Mix the sour cream and cream cheese together well, then add raw onions and noodles and mix.
- In a large casserole, place 1/2 of the beef mixture, then all of the noodle mixture and 1/2 of the grated cheese, then add the rest of the beef mix and remaining cheese. Bake 1 hour.
- Serves 8.
