Kickin Burger And Dog Topper
- 1 head Large Green Cabbage, Shredded Or Finely Chopped
- 1 whole Large Sweet Onion, Minced
- 1-1/4 cup White Vinegar
- 1-1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cups Prepared Yellow Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper, More Or Less To Taste
- In a food processor, with the grater blade side up, grate cabbage and onion finely. Place in a very large bowl. In another large bowl, mix remaining ingredients until well blended.
- Pour sauce over cabbage and onion and mix very well. It may be soupy. Place in the fridge and let marinate overnight.
- Right before serving, drain until you have reached desired consistency. Top hot dogs and burgers. Also look for my cheesy Western burger recipe using this topping.
- Store in Ziploc bags, or you may can it. Keeps for up to 3 months in a Ziploc bag in the refrigerator.
