Homemade Fried Baby Potatoes

  1. Rinse the potatoes. Drop the potatoes into a large pot. Boil abut 10 minutes or until done but not breaking up. Wash with cool water, peel the skin and prick the potatoes with a fork. Set them aside.
  2. Next put chili powder, white pepper, oregano and salt in to a medium bowl. Mix well. Combine with the potatoes and mix well. Set aside about 30 minutes.
  3. Make the batter. Put the gram flour, salt, and plain flour into a bowl. Mix thoroughly and add the water to make a thick batter.
  4. Heat coconut oil in a deep frying pan. Coat each potato with enough batter and then deep fry till light brown.
  5. Serve hot with tomato sauce. Enjoy.
