Cherry Pie Wontons
- 1 can (21 Oz. Size) Cherry Pie Filling
- 2 teaspoons Almond Extract
- 26 whole Wonton Wrappers
- 1/2 cups Water
- 1 whole Egg White
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- 1.treheat your oven to 375F.
- 2.tix cherry pie filling and almond extract in a bowl.
- 3.take one wonton wrapper and top with about 1 Tablespoon of cherry mix in the center.
- 4.tut the 1/2 cup of water into a small bowl. Use a little bit of the water to wet your finger and run it along the edges of the wrapper (you may need to dip your finger in the water a few times). The water will help the other wrapper stick.
- 5.top with another wrapper and seal edges with a fork. Repeat steps 3-5 with remaining wontons and filling.
- 6. In another small bowl combine egg white and 1 Tablespoon of water. Mix well to make a egg wash. Using a pastry brush, brush each pie with egg wash.
- 7.top in the oven for 12 minutes.
- 8.temove and let cool a bit. Eat while warm or cold.
