Chocolate Cups With Cream Cheese Cream!
- 3-5/8 ounces, weight Dark Chocolate
- 1/2 pounds, 7/8 ounces, weight Cream-cheese (or Mascarpone)
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 4-1/4 ounces, weight Dark Or Milk Chocolate
- 2 Tablespoons Rum (optional)
- Optional Garnishes: Graham Cracker, Crumbled Or Chopped Nuts
- In a double boiler, melt 100 g of dark chocolate. Then grab 20 mini muffin cups and brush them with the melted chocolate. Place the cups on a piece of parchment paper that you placed on a sheet pan. Refrigerate while you make the cream.
- Place cream cheese and sugar in a bowl and beat on medium speed until creamy.
- In a double boiler, melt 120 g of dark or milk chocolate. Let it cool down then pour the melted chocolate into the bowl with the cream-cheese. Add the rum if you are using it. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
- Take the chocolate cups out of the refrigerator and peel them out of their paper. Place the cream into a pastry bag with a star tip and squeeze the cream into each chocolate cup.
- Now go ahead and decorate them! I didn't have anything at home so I just grabbed a cookie, crumbled it a bit and sprinkled it on top of the cream.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve!
