Apple/Orange Butter
- 5 whole Medium Size Apples, I Used Fuji, Peeled, Cored And Chopped
- 1 can (11-14 Oz. Size) Mandarin Oranges, Drained
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cloves
- 1/2 teaspoons Nutmeg
- 4 whole Half-pint Canning Jars, Lids And Rings
- Put all ingredients in a medium size pot and cook on medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring often. Cook until apples are soft then remove from heat.
- In the meantime get your water boiling in your canning pot and have 4 half pint jars washed and ready to go, along with 4 lids and rings.
- Using your boat motor or food processor, blend apple mixture till pureed. While hot, fill jars to within a half inch of top of jar. Make sure rim is clean, put on lid and ring snuggly. Process in hot water bath for 14 minutes. Enjoy!
