Brownie Truffles Aka Brownie Pops/Cut-Outs
- 2 boxes Deluxe Fudge Brownie Mix (18.3 Oz. Each)
- Additional Required Ingredients Specified On The Brownie Mix Packages
- 6 ounces, weight Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 pound Candy Melts (wafers-any Color, Flavor)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray an 11x15x2 pan with non-stick baking spray. Set aside.
- Prepare brownies according to package. (This is a doubled recipe, so you will need to bake brownies in an 11x15x2 pan).
- Bake brownies for 35-40 minutes or according to package instructions. Let cool.
- Ganache:
- In the meantime, pour chocolate chips and whipping cream into a small bowl. Microwave on high in increments of 30 seconds, stirring between each 30 second burst, till fully blended. Cool.
- Truffles:
- Scoop brownies out of pan and into a large bowl.
- Pour ganache over the broken brownies.
- Thoroughly mix ingredients together.
- Line a cookie sheet/jelly roll pan (11x18) with parchment paper.
- Pour brownie truffles into pan.
- Spread the dough and pat down evenly into pan.
- Chill truffles in freezer for 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, melt candy melts (wafers) according to package instructions.
- Take the frozen dough and cut out with cookie cutters or roll the mixture into balls (1").
- Dip cut-outs/rolls into melted candy coating.
- Transfer cut-outs/balls to waxed/parchment paper.
- Footnote:
- You could decorate cut-outs/truffles with sprinkles, colored sugar, etc.. but act quickly, candy coating will harden quickly!
- **Chill time is also included in cooking time.
