Melon Ball Show Stopper
- 2 quarts Assorted Fresh Fruit, And Melons: Watermelon, Cantaulope, Honeydew, Bing Cherries, Seedless Grapes, Strawberries, Blueberries, Etc., Etc.
- 1 package (4-serving Size) Instant French Vanilla Pudding
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 tub (12 Oz. Tub) Cool Whip, Or 3-4 Cups Whipped Cream
- Cut a few melon balls, stem a few strawberries, pit a few cherries, grab a few seedless grapes, pick a few big blueberries, and put them in a colander, along with any other fruit you love. Save 1 large strawberry for a topper.
- (It's best not to use fruit that will fall apart when stirred, like raspberries, or fruit that will turn brown, like apples.)
- Anyway, mix them all up in the colander until you have a couple of quarts, or enough to feed your clan. Let them drain for a few minutes, them transfer them to the right size clear glass bowl. You want to be able to see the pretty colors!
- Mix up a package of french vanilla instant pudding with the milk, and pour over to just cover.
- Top with the Cool Whip, (or if you're like me, use real whipped cream), and crown with that perfect strawberry you saved.
- Refrigerate until serving, and try to serve within an hour or two, as this will tend to get a little watery after several hours.
