Candy Bar Cookies
- 1/2 cups Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 cups Shortening
- 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 3/4 cups Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 whole Egg Yolk
- 2-1/2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cups Chopped Salted Peanuts
- 1 whole Snickers Bar, Chopped
- 10 whole Rolos, Chopped
- 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, shortening, brown sugar and sugar. Mix in vanilla and eggs until combined. Add flour, baking soda and salt and mix on low speed until just incorporated. Stir in nuts, Snickers, Rolos, and chocolate chips.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a large cookie sheet (preferably lined with a silicone baking mat to keep the caramel from sticking.) Bake 9-11 minutes or until edges and tops of cookies are just golden. Let rest on the cookie sheet 2 or 3 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
