Michelle’S Rice Pilaf

  1. In a medium skillet heat the oil and butter over medium-high heat until the butter is almost melted. Add the rice and orzo and cook until browned; be careful not to burn the rice and orzo.
  2. Add water, soy sauce, bouillon granules and seasonings. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook for 20 minutes. (No peeking!)
  3. When done, remove from heat and take the lid off. Fluff with a fork and add the sliced green onion. Stir to incorporate. Serve.
  4. Serves 4
