Homemade Chubby Hubby Ice Cream
- 6 whole Malted Milk Balls
- 6 whole Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels (See Below)
- 1-1/2 cup Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter (heaping)
- _____
- FOR THE CHOCOLATE-COVERED PEANUT BUTTER PRETZELS:
- 1 bag (12 Oz. Bag) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 bag (8 Oz. Bag) Peanut Butter Pretzel Sandwiches
- To make the chocolate-covered peanut butter pretzels:
- Melt chocolate by placing chips in a double boiler over simmering water. Stir until melted. (Alternate method: place chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat on 50% power for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Stir. Continue to heat in 15-30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.)
- Using tongs, dip pretzels in melted chocolate to coat. Place on waxed paper to cool. Repeat with entire bag of pretzels. Place in the freezer to cool, about 10 minutes.
- To make the ice cream:
- Once pretzels have cooled, place malted milk balls and pretzels in a food processor and pulse until broken into chunks. Keep pulsing until no whole pieces remain. I like mine on the chunkier side. This makes 1/2 cup of mix-ins.
- Add crushed mix-ins to a bowl with ice cream and peanut butter. Mix together using 2 spoons and enjoy!
