Fudge Cake(Heavenly And Sinful)
- 1 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. mini chocolate chips, divided
- 2 (4 oz.) bars German chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1/3 c. chocolate syrup
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 oz. white chocolate or vanilla chips
- 2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. shortening, divided
- Cream butter in large mixing bowl.
- Gradually add sugar, beating well on medium speed.
- Add eggs 1 at a time, beating after each egg is added.
- Dissolve soda in buttermilk, mixing well.
- Add buttermilk to creamed mixture alternately with flour, beginning and ending with flour.
- Add 1 cup chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, melted German chocolate and vanilla.
- Stir until well blended; do not beat.
- Spoon batter into heavily greased and floured Bundt cake pan.
- Bake at 300u0b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.
- Turn out immediately onto serving plate; cool completely.
