Caramel Apple Pie Bars
- FOR THE CRUST:
- 2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs (12 Graham Crackers Crushed)
- 1/4 cups Sugar
- 6 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
- FOR THE FILLING:
- 4 cups Granny Smith Apples, Peeled, Cored, And Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Dulce De Leche Caramel
- 1/2 cups Pecans, Chopped
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0F.
- For the crust, in a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter until well combined. Press into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- For the filling, in a large bowl, add apples and toss with lemon juice. Add brown sugar and flour and toss to combine. Spread apples evenly over crust.
- Heat dulce de leche in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Dollop over the apples and sprinkle with pecans.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until apples are softened.
- Allow to cool slightly. Serve warm or at room temperature and with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you have some.
