Cocoa Krispy Treats With White Chocolate And Sunflower Butter
- 1 package (12 Ounces) White Chocolate Chips
- 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Plus More For Baking Dish
- 4 cups Mini Marshmallows
- 1/3 cups Sunflower Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 6 cups Cocoa Krispies Cereal
- Butter an 8-inch square baking dish. Set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chips for 45-60 seconds, then check and stir. Continue to microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring each time, until completely melted.
- Place butter, marshmallows, sunflower butter, and salt in a large pot. Stir to combine and melt over medium heat, stirring frequently (about 4-5 minutes.) Add cereal and mix to combine.
- Put a little cooking spray on a wooden spoon and press half of cereal mixture into the baking dish. Spread half of the melted chocolate on top. Repeat with remaining cereal and chocolate.
- Let chocolate harden and cut into squares.
- ** You could easily swap out the white chocolate and sunflower butter for milk chocolate and peanut butter.
