Chocolate Pixies

  1. Heat oven to 300u0b0.
  2. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Reserve.
  4. Melt butter and chocolate; remove from heat and let cool.
  5. Add granulated sugar and eggs, mixing thoroughly after each egg.
  6. Beat for 1 or more minutes.
  7. Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
  8. Mixture will be stiff.
  9. Remove dough from bowl, scraping sides with a spatula.
  10. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  11. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in confectioners sugar.
  12. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
  13. Place balls 3 inches apart and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until tops are set.
  14. Cool on wire racks.
