Monkey Caramel Rolls
- 2 loaves Frozen Bread Dough
- 1/2 cups Margarine Or Butter, Plus Extra For Pan
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 6 ounces, fluid Vanilla Pudding Mix (not Instant)
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- Cinnamon, To Taste
- Start preparing the night before:
- 1. Let bread loaves thaw until they are soft enough to cut, but not really gooey. This will take a few hours, but the time will depend on the temperature in your house.
- 2. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Grease it really well! You can use either cooking spray or butter.
- 3. Cut one loaf of bread into 1-2 inch chunks. Place the chunks along the bottom of the pan.
- 4. Melt the butter in a small sauce pan. Stir in brown sugar, followed by pudding mix, milk, and cinnamon.
- 5. Pour caramel mixture over the first layer of dough chunks.
- 6. Cut second layer into chunks and place on top.
- 7. Spray a piece of foil and cover the pan. Let rise overnight.
- In the morning:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2. Remove foil and bake for 35 minutes.
- 3. Remove from oven and recover with tin foil. Place a flat surface, like a cutting board, that's bigger than the pan over the top.
- 4. Now very carefully flip the whole thing over in one quick motion and let the rolls slide out of the pan and onto the foil and cutting board.
- 5. Let cool slightly and enjoy!
