Morning Glory Steel Cut Oats

  1. Bring water to a boil in a medium sized pot. Add steel cut (Irish) oats into the water. Cover the pot and turn off heat.
  2. Go to bed!
  3. When you wake up, the oats will be cooked. Just sprinkle with sea salt, stir, and turn the stove on medium heat for 3-5 minutes to heat up. Top with desired toppings and eat!
  4. Optional: Add shredded carrots, raisins, walnuts, chopped apples, and a wee bit of cinnamon. Sweeten with maple syrup if desired.
