Healthy Homemade Granola
- 3 cups Old-fashioned Oats (not Instant)
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Raw Almonds
- 1 cup Unsalted, Dry-roasted Peanuts
- 1/2 cups Unsalted Mixed Nuts
- 1/2 cups Honey
- 1/4 cups Canola Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Almond Extract
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
- Preheat oven to 300u0b0F. Mix the oats, salt and nuts together in a large mixing bowl. Combine the honey and canola oil in a large measuring cup. Stir in the almond extract, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add some of the oat mixture into the honey mixture and stir until well combined. Add more oats to the honey mixture until the measuring cup is full and all nuts are well coated. Add the honey-coated oat mixture into the large mixing bowl and combine with the remaining oats.
- Pour the mixture onto a parchment lined large baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes at 300u0b0F, stirring every 5 minutes. Allow mixture to cool before serving.
