Light Fruit Cake

  1. Sift flour and baking powder.
  2. Pour flour over chopped fruit and nuts.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, eggs and flavorings.
  4. Pour creamed mixture over floured fruit.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300u0b0.
  7. Makes large cake.
