Good Cheap Espresso
- 10 ounces, fluid Water
- 5 Tablespoons Espresso Roast Coffee Beans Ground For ESPRESSO
- 1 whole Stove Top Espresso Maker
- Okay, just get yourself one of these babies (stove top espresso maker), and you are on your way to making coffee house quality drinks at your home for less than 1/3 of what you are going to pay at a shop.
- To brew the espresso, put 10 ounces of water into the bottom of the pot, add 5 tablespoons of the ground espresso beans to the basket and press it down to pack it (not quite as tight as you pack brown sugar, but pack it in there). Then screw the espresso maker together with the lid and set it on the stove to brew. I brew mine at the lowest setting possible so as not to scorch the coffee. It takes 12 minutes at the low setting on my gas stove. If it brews slowly, you will see crema, like in the picture that I have attached. When it is done, you will have 8 ounces of brewed espresso. Now you are ready to make lattes and mochas and frappes, oh my!
