Chorizo Taco Soup

  1. In a Dutch oven over medium heat, crumble and brown the sausage and ground beef until done, about 10 minutes. Add diced pepper, onion, garlic, and seasonings and continue frying 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 20-30 minutes.
  2. Serve with your choice of toppings, such as shredded cheese, crushed taco chips, chopped cilantro, sour cream.
  3. For a less spicy soup, substitute 1 pound ground pork for the chorizo sausage.
