Stir-Fry Beef And Broccoli

  1. Brown stew meat in hot oil in wok on all sides.
  2. Remove and drain on paper towel.
  3. Cook onion in oil until tender.
  4. Remove and add to beef.
  5. Set aside.
  6. Add broccoli and stir-fry until broccoli partially tender.
  7. Combine broth, soy sauce and cornstarch in small bowl.
  8. Add reserved beef and onion to broccoli.
  9. Pour broth mixture over all.
  10. Stir to mix.
  11. Lower heat to simmer and simmer for 5 minutes, covered.
  12. Add tomato wedges and gently mix with other ingredients.
  13. Cook until tomatoes and just heated through.
  14. Serve on bed of rice.
