Almond Joy Cookies
- 2-1/2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 Tablespoon Amaretto
- 2 teaspoons Almond Extract
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Coconut Flakes
- 1 cup Sliced Almonds
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375u0b0F.
- 2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- 3. In a separate mixing bowl, beat softened butter and both sugars until mixture turns smooth and creamy.
- 4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well between each and scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- 5. Add amaretto and almond extract.
- 6. Mix in chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and almonds.
- 7. Scoop dough onto cookie sheets. It helps to use an ice cream scoop to ensure all cookies are the same size.
- 8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
- 9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before removing from the pan.
