Asian Salad
- 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Paste, Or 1 Large Clove Minced Garlic
- 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Sushi Vinegar (or Rice Vinegar With 1/4 Teaspoon Sugar - Either Way Is Fine!)
- 1-1/2 cup Shredded Cabbage (whatever Kind You Like!)
- 2 cups Shredded Lettuce
- 1/4 cups Sliced Green Onions
- 1/2 cups Sliced Cucumbers
- Sesame Seeds, Optional Garnish
- Make the dressing: whisk the soy sauce, garlic, oil, and vinegar until smooth.
- Shred the cabbage and put it into a bowl.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage and let sit to marinate for 15-30 minutes.
- On small salad plates or a large platter, arrange the shredded lettuce, then top it with the green onions and cucumbers. Put the marinated cabbage on top of the salad and drizzle any remaining dressing over the dish. Sprinkle everything with sesame seeds right before serving.
- Top with grilled chicken, shrimp, or steak for a great light meal!
