Old School Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1/2 cups Butter, Softened
- 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, blend the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla and blend well. Slowly add in the flour, baking soda and salt, blend until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. I put my dough in the fridge for 20 minutes to chill.
- Preheat your oven to 350u0b0F. Line your cookie sheets with Silpat mats or parchment.
- When you are ready, spoon by the tablespoonful onto the prepared sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes until the bottoms are lightly browned. Remove them to a wire rack to cool completely.
