Cranberry Sugar Cookies With Chocolate
- 2-3/4 cups White Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 cup Butter, Softened
- 1-1/2 cup White Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup Dried Cranberries
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips, Melted
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a small bowl, add flour, baking soda and baking powder. Set aside.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Gradually blend flour mixture into the creamed mixture until mixed well. Stir in dried cranberries.
- Form dough into approximately 1-inch sized balls and place on a cooking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes until brown on edges. Remove from oven and allow to cool on a rack.
- When cookies are cool, dip into melted chocolate.
- Makes about 48 cookies, depending on size.
