Connie’S Krispy Cones

  1. Make your Rice Krispy treats by melting the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and heat until marshmallows are melted then add vanilla. When combined and melted, remove from heat and mix in the Rice Krispies and mix well.
  2. Rub your hands in butter and put the Rice Krispy treats (very gently), inside of a sugar cone and mound the top so it looks like an ice cream cone.
  3. Melt the chocolate in a microwave, heating for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each (be careful, it melts quickly).
  4. Grab a Krispy Cone and drizzle the melted chocolate over the top. You can spinkle any holiday sprinkles on top or add cinnamon to your Krispy Treats or add peanuts, there could be many variations.
  5. Let them completely dry on a piece of wax paper. When dry put into clear bags with twist ties or colored raphia or ribbon. Kids really love these!! Enjoy
