Oreo Crumble Nut Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray an 8x8 cake pan with cooking spray.
  2. Beat butter and sugar until creamy and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and then add vanilla. Add in cocoa powder and mix until combined. Add in flour and salt and mix well until the batter is smooth and creamy. Fold in 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips.
  3. Pour batter into the pan and press 9 Oreos into the batter until they sink into the batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, blend 1 cup hazelnuts, remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips, and remaining 3 Oreos in a food processor and process until a crumbly mixture forms.
  5. When brownies are finished baking, remove them from the oven and evenly sprinkle the Oreo mixture over the brownies. Bake for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from the oven and refrigerate until ready to eat.
