Oreo Crumble Nut Brownies
- 1/2 cups Butter, Softened At Room Temperature
- 1-1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
- 1-1/4 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1/4 teaspoons Sea Salt
- 3/4 cups Chocolate Chips, Divided
- 12 whole Oreos, 9 Whole And 3 Chopped, Divided Use
- 1 cup Hazelnuts
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray an 8x8 cake pan with cooking spray.
- Beat butter and sugar until creamy and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and then add vanilla. Add in cocoa powder and mix until combined. Add in flour and salt and mix well until the batter is smooth and creamy. Fold in 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the pan and press 9 Oreos into the batter until they sink into the batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, blend 1 cup hazelnuts, remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips, and remaining 3 Oreos in a food processor and process until a crumbly mixture forms.
- When brownies are finished baking, remove them from the oven and evenly sprinkle the Oreo mixture over the brownies. Bake for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from the oven and refrigerate until ready to eat.
