Henry Ford Estate Reuben Bake
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut
- 1 (12 oz.) can corned beef (not hash)
- 1/2 c. Thousand Island dressing
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
- 1/4 tsp. caraway seed (optional)
- Cook, rinse and drain noodles.
- Place noodles in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter or margarine.
- Toss noodles with the butter.
- Spread sauerkraut over noodles.
- Shred corned beef and mix with dressing.
- Cover sauerkraut with corned beef and dressing mix.
- Layer tomato slices and cheese over the beef mix. Melt remaining butter and combine with crumbs and seeds.
- Sprinkle over top of casserole.
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Bake about 1 hour. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
