Cheesy Moon Bread
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 1 (13 3/4 oz.) pkg. Pillsbury hot roll mix
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt or powder
- 2 to 3 tsp. basil leaves or 1/2 tsp. ground basil
- 1 to 2 tsp. leaf oregano or 1/2 tsp. ground oregano
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped stuffed olives
- 1 egg, beaten to brush top (if desired)
- Generously grease a 12-inch pizza pan. In large bowl, mix warm water with yeast from hot roll mix; stir until dissolved. Stir in egg, butter and seasonings. Add flour from roll mix, cheese and olives. Stir until well blended.
- Cover; let rise in warm place until doubled, 30 to 45 minutes. Knead dough on well floured surface, about 10 strokes. Shape dough onto prepared pizza pan. Cover; let rise in warm place 30 to 45 minutes. Slit top of dough 3 to 4 times. Brush with beaten egg, if desired. Bake at 325u0b0 for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pan.
- Cool 5 minutes.
