Breakfast Cinnamon Bites

  1. 1. Mix flour, crushed cereal, 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
  2. 2. Add shortening and mix in with a fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. 3. Add milk and stir into the dough.
  4. 4. Roll doll into small balls (about 2 dozen)
  5. 5. Mix cinnamon and remaining 1/2 cup sugar in a bowl.
  6. 6. Drop the balls into melted butter and roll in cinnamon mixture.
  7. 7. Place balls onto a greased pan (uses a cookie sheet if you want them to stay round, or for a fun monkey bread look, put in a round pan).
  8. 8. Cook for 15 minutes at 425u0b0F.
  9. Notes:
  10. These taste better cold.
  11. My taste testers liked them better with cream cheese icing.
