Chocolate Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add vinegar, salt, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or vanilla and 1/2 cup sugar.
  3. Spread in pie shell and bake 15 to 18 minutes. Cool.
  4. Melt chocolate chips.
  5. Beat egg yolks.
  6. Fold yolks and water into chocolate.
  7. Spread 3 tablespoons chocolate mixture on meringue.
  8. Whip the cream, gradually adding 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
  9. Spread half on chocolate mixture.
  10. Fold remaining half of cream.
  11. Spread on top.
  12. You will have 4 layers. Chill at least 4 hours.
  13. This pie can be made ahead and frozen.
