Owl-O-Ween Cookies

  1. Frost the flat side of the cookie with frosting. Twist Oreos apart and place the back side down, cream side up for the large part of the eyes. For the small part of the eyes, put a dab of frosting on the back of an Almond Joy drop, and place in the desired spot. Take the remaining half of the Oreo, cut in half and use for eyebrows. Last, put a candy corn where you want the nose.
  2. Here are some alternatives for ingredients:
  3. Big part of eye: York Peppermint Patties, other sandwich cookies
  4. Small part of eye: M&Ms, Junior Mints, chocolate covered espresso beans, white chocolate chips
  5. Nose: Indian corn, M&Ms, white chocolate chips, butter scotch chips, nuts
  6. Head: whoopie pies, cupcakes
  7. Feel free to use homemade sugar cookies or homemade frosting.
  8. These are adapted from my Wise Ol' Owl Cookies, originally adapted from In Katrina's Kitchen.
