Gingerbread Rice Krispie Treats

  1. Spray an 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan with cooking spray.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. When melted add marshmallows and stir until the marshmallows are melted but not burned.
  3. Take the mixture off of the heat and sprinkle in the spices. Pour in the Rice Krispies. Stir until evenly coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press down with a rubber or metal spatula to make the top even. Let them cool on a wire rack (or if you're impatient like me throw them in the freezer for 5-10 minutes).
  5. Cut into bars and enjoy. Store in an airtight container or covered at room temperature.
