Gingerbread Rice Krispie Treats
- 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1 bag Gingerbread Marshmallows (10 Oz)
- 2 dashes Ground Cinnamon
- 1 dash Ground Nutmeg
- 1 dash Ground Ginger
- 1 pinch Ground Cloves
- 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
- Spray an 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan with cooking spray.
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. When melted add marshmallows and stir until the marshmallows are melted but not burned.
- Take the mixture off of the heat and sprinkle in the spices. Pour in the Rice Krispies. Stir until evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press down with a rubber or metal spatula to make the top even. Let them cool on a wire rack (or if you're impatient like me throw them in the freezer for 5-10 minutes).
- Cut into bars and enjoy. Store in an airtight container or covered at room temperature.
