Christmas Oatmeal Cookies
- 1/2 cups Butter, Softened To Room Temperature
- 1/2 cups Butter Flavored Shortening
- 1 cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups White Granulated Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1-1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cloves
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 cups Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Dried Cranberries
- 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- 2. Cream together butter, shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- 3. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt; stir into the wet mixture. Stir in oats, cranberries, and chocolate chips.
- 4. Drop by rounded 1/2 tablespoonfuls 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool on the cookie sheet for two minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
- Makes about 80 bite-sized cookies, depending on how big you roll your dough balls.
