Pina Colada Dipping Sauce
- 1 cup Pina Colada Mix
- 1/4 cups Water
- 4 Tablespoons Crushed Pineapple, Drained
- 4 teaspoons Sweetened Coconut Flakes
- 3 Tablespoons Plus 1 Teaspoon Powdered Sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Cornstarch
- 3 teaspoons Cold Water
- 1. Mix together pina colada mix, water, crushed pineapple, coconut, and powdered sugar in a saucepan.
- 2. Heat on medium low temperature until sauce begins to simmer, stirring frequently. Let mixture simmer slowly for 10 to 12 minutes.
- 3. Mix cornstarch and cold water together, add to the sauce, and blend well.
- 4. Let the mixture simmer for 3 to 5 minutes longer while stirring during and after adding the cornstarch.
- 5. Remove from heat and bring to room temperature.
- 6. Sauce is served at room temperature or chilled.
