Cinnamon Sugar Bread
- FOR THE CINNAMON SUGAR:
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1/3 cups White Sugar
- FOR THE BREAD:
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1 cup White Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/3 cups Vegetable Oil
- 1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Lightly grease a 9x5 loaf pan. Prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture and set aside.
- 2. For the bread, in a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add egg, milk and oil to flour mixture. Mix until just moistened.
- 3. Pour half of batter into pan. Sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar, reserving some for sprinkling on top. Cover with remaining batter. Sprinkle with the reserved cinnamon and sugar.
- 4. Bake for 45 minutes or until it tests done. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes and then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
